Tangled Zen

Due to the interest after the May retreat was sold out, I decided to do an encore retreat! That retreat announcement went out to my newsletter recipients and was sold out in 3 days, with still more interest! I am humbled and so excited about these happenings, you have no idea. So...a third, and final, chance to attend this year's spring retreat is on the calendar. This weekend will be exactly the same retreat that will be given in May, just a new date for others to have the opportunity to join in! Help me celebrate Tangled Art & Zen's "first-ish" retreat right here in the new studio! It is going to be a weekend of epic tangling opportunities with some  new techniques, amazing projects, and newfound friendships! You won't want to miss this!

Come as students...leave as family

What you can expect:

  • A small, intimate group of like-minded creatives, coming together to share in a casual weekend of relaxation, fun, creativity and friendships

  • Over 15 Hours of class time

  • All supplies, plus some extra surprises

  • Free time to explore, create, relax or hang out

  • Home-cooked, delicious meals

  • Accommodations in our home (first come first served - there is a hotel and several airbnbs within 15 minutes if you are more comfortable with that option - not included)

  • A special guest artist sharing a 'new' medium to explore with Zentangle

  • Serene, quiet, country surroundings that welcome you as you pull in the drive

I am fully vaccinated, and although the studio can accommodate 16, I am only hosting 8 for this retreat. Super quaint and small. My property is home to an acre pond out front and a flowing stream right outside the studio, which might find us doing some outdoor classes if weather permits, as well. I am opening my home for those that don’t want to pay for lodging and that is on a first come first served, comfort basis of 2 queen rooms and a bunk room with 4 beds. It should also be noted that I do have 3 dogs, although they will not be ‘with us’, if there are allergy issues, that is something to note as well. There is a hotel less than 15 minutes away (Hamburg) and several Airbnb’s around the area for those that would prefer that avenue. The studio, and my home, are judgement free zones of beautiful, like-minded individuals, who are comfortable with whatever anyone chooses to do. Wearing a mask is an option. I will not be asking for vaccination status. This will entice some people, and hinder others, and I understand that. This will be a live event and I will not move it to Zoom…if I deem it too risky, I will cancel the event and offer a full refund. However, if you cancel, there will not be a refund unless I am able to fill your seat.Any questions, please ask.
